The Workshop

Ever been fascinated by Robots? Then “ROBOCRAFT" is for you. This is a 1 day hands on workshop, being organized for school children by the IoT department of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITMK) on 16th July 2016. IIITMK takes honor in inviting high school students from esteemed Institution to be a part of this interesting event at our campus. When most people think of the term "robotics", they imagine a device resembling a human and designed to mimic human function. While some robots meets that definition, robots can be defined more generally as a machine or device that performs tasks and operates automatically or by remote control. In this workshop students will be familiarized with Arduino board.Arduino is an open source prototyping platform based on easy to use hardware and software. This workshop is designed to provide the basic knowledge and awareness to the aspiring minds of children on the Arduino boards. The idea behind the workshop is to develop an interest among the upcoming engineers to come up with innovative ideas in the field of robotics.

Who can participate?


We've designed this one day workshop for school children(Upto 10th class). Registration is limited to a maximum of 40 participants (selection will be through a first-come-first-served basis). Register on or before 15th July 2016.

Note: . No TA/DA will be provided to the participants. Participants have to arrange accommodation by their own. We will provide lunch and refreshments to all participants.

Steps to Register


Following are the simple steps for registering in the workshop

1. Apply Online by filling the Registration Form
2. Take a DD for Rs.250. drawn in favor of Director, IIITMK payable at Trivandrum.
3. Write your DD number and name of the bank in the printed registration form and send it along with the DD to:

Certification
